New Teammember: Connor

Today, we're more than happy to announce our newest addition to the team: Connor!

We met Connor a while ago and were fascinated by his drive. Just like he did, we knew that he would be a great addition to our team.

Here's a short introduction by Connor:

Hey! My name is Connor, and as of writing this, I am 19 years old. I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, and moved to Germany 6 years ago with my family. My mother is from the Philippines, and my father is from Germany. I grew up only speaking English at home, so learning the German language was definitely not easy. However, I was able to integrate myself quite well and quite quickly, and now I also call Germany my home.

After graduating high school in 2023, I started studying Business Administration at the University of Mannheim. I was lucky enough to meet Alex and Kai at Q-Summit and am now a part of the team. I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I am extremely interested in almost all topics regarding business, especially strategy and growth. This is also why I wanted to join ONINO, as I see the potential for a technology that can change the world, and I want to help grow and expand it across the globe. I also love learning and am interested in a myriad of different topics—the more I can learn and understand, the better!

As for my hobbies, I enjoy playing basketball and volleyball, as well as traveling and reading a good book. I am also very interested in the startup sphere and have a mini-job at the university at the Mannheim Center for Entrepreneurship.My role at ONINO:I am working this summer as an intern in the position of Founders Associate. I will be working directly with Alex, as well as with Lukas and Kai, to increase sales, grow the business, and continue improving ONINO. I do not have a specific role and will focus on working on whatever projects need to be completed and taken care of. My goal is to learn as much as possible about blockchain technology, business development, and all the other important aspects of growing a startup. I will be happy with my contribution to the company if I can see or experience the positive change I bring to the company on a daily basis. The next couple of months will definitely be exciting, and I look forward to everything that is in store!
