Welcome to the first ONINO newsletter of 2025! We’ve made incredible progress already this month, and we’re excited to share all the updates with you!

January Community Update

Each first Monday of the month we hold our monthly ONINO community update. This is your chance to hear the latest & greatest about ONINO, where we answer all your questions and we have a great time together.

The ONINO Web Wallet

We recently discussed the development of the ONINO Web Wallet as an entry point to the ONINO Mainnet. With the ONINO Web Wallet we simplify not only the interaction with the ONINO blockchain, but also sending and receiving tokens, delegating to staking pools and managing your wallets. Building on the foundation of the ONINO Dashboard, which already simplifies user interactions with the platform, the Web Wallet will enhance accessibility and usability for everyone.

For anyone who would like to help secure our network, we offer 2 different methods:

• Be a validator
• Participate in delegated staking
  

Delegated staking is currently being worked on and we are putting the finishing touches to the web wallet before we let our community test it live on the testnet. Validators will need 35,000 ONI to register a node and meet all other requirements (more information here: https://docs.onino.io/onino-blockchain-framework/nodes-and-validators). Delegation is open to all users who wish to participate and we will communicate the release for testing on testnet in our dedicated community channels.

ONINO Tokenization & Mainnet Update

Development for the ONINO Mainnet is progressing rapidly, with the launch set for April 1st—just a few weeks away!

We’re thrilled to share several key milestones in our tokenization journey. First, our integration with Cashlink - a BaFin-licensed security token registrar - is now fully operational. This ensures that issuers can easily and securely offer regulated tokenized securities through our platform. We’ve also introduced a new “Organizations” feature, adding a vital layer of multi-tenant access control that allows multiple companies to manage their projects independently under one platform.

On the blockchain side, development for the ONINO Mainnet is accelerating toward its April 1st launch. We’ve nearly completed our native Web Wallet (complete with delegated staking), a Blockchain Explorer, and a token migration tool to help users move from ERC-20 and BEP-20 to the upcoming ONINO chain seamlessly. We’ll ensure a seamless migration experience, providing clear instructions and community support along the way.

These steps are all part of our broader vision to deliver a secure, user-friendly Web3 experience - stay tuned for more updates soon!

We’re kicking off 2025 with an exciting lineup of events, continuing the momentum we built last year. These gatherings are a key part of ONINO’s mission to connect with industry leaders, showcase our platform, and explore new opportunities for growth.

2025 Preview: The ONINO Ecosystem

With this newsletter, we would like to take the opportunity to once again highlight how the ONINO Ecosystem will evolve in 2025. Let’s jump right into it!

The ONINO ecosystem is designed to seamlessly connect our blockchain and tokenization platform, creating a robust foundation for innovation and growth. Our blockchain serves as the backbone, hosting secure registers for security tokens while enabling countless companies to build their own applications on top of it. The ONINO Tokenization Platform simplifies the creation of utility tokens, security tokens (such as debt and equity), and more, all while ensuring full regulatory compliance. This functionality empowers groundbreaking industries like renewable energy, real estate, and beyond by providing them with the tools to fund and scale their ideas.

The platform will be available in two forms: the public ONINO Tokenized Financing Platform, accessible to everyone, and custom white-label solutions tailored for banks and large institutions to tokenize their own projects. The community plays a vital role in this ecosystem by recommending ONINO as a financing solution to businesses they know and by supporting the innovative projects soon to launch. Together, we can drive technological advancements and create a more sustainable and connected future!

Meet Justin Landvogt – Our Newest Team Member!

Justin, a 22-year-old Industrial Engineering and Management student at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), joins us with a passion for disruptive ideas and blockchain technology. With experience in entrepreneurship gained during his Erasmus exchange in Helsinki and as a volunteer at the Slush Festival, Justin is excited to support ONINO’s business development and sales activities. His goal is to bring key investors to the ONINO tokenization platform while deepening his knowledge in blockchain and startup growth.
