Events | Web Summit 2024
Last week, ONINO participated in Web Summit 2024 in Lisbon, a three-day event bringing together 70,000 attendees and some of the world's most innovative companies.
As part of the German Delegation for Baden-Württemberg in cooperation with the BW-I, we showcased ONINO at the prestigious German Park, thanks to Germany’s role as a Web Summit sponsor. This prime location allowed us to connect with numerous potential customers and partners, fostering exciting prospects for future collaborations.
A key moment was the fireside chat where I, Alexandre Lehr, joined Finoa to speak about "Token-Based Finance and the State of Crypto." The discussion highlighted the potential of tokenization, and we are now exploring synergies with Finoa to advance the industry further. (see image above)
Additionally, we engaged with companies from sectors such as renewable energy, real estate, and other tokenization platforms to only name some. These conversations have already led to scheduled follow-ups, with exciting opportunities on the horizon.
Another highlight of the event was the visit by Robert Habeck, Germany's Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection. He delivered a compelling speech at the German Park and toured the booths to engage with startups.
Beyond the summit, we attended key networking events, including Startup Germany Night, where we deepened connections with innovative minds from around the globe.
The Web Summit was an incredible opportunity to share our vision, build partnerships, and strengthen ONINO's position as a leader in blockchain technology.

ONINO Tokenization Platform
This past month, we reached major milestones to enhance the ONINO Tokenization Platform:
Roadmap Progress: We defined our Q4/2024 development goals.
Platform Upgrades: We improved user flows and interfaces, added advanced admin tools for compliant investor and transaction management, and introduced a guided onboarding process for issuers.

ONINO Blockchain Updates
Mark your calendars: The ONINO Mainnet is set to launch in April 2025!
This milestone will bring our vision of seamless, compliant tokenisation closer to reality, supported by our growing infrastructure and licensing efforts.
We are currently focusing our efforts on creating the optimal environment for tokenised assets. Kai and Lukas are preparing a detailed blog post on the road to mainnet that will cover several key points such as migration, token economics, community participation in ecosystem decisions and much more.
