Kai Firschau is Co-Founder and CTO of ONINO, where he has led the technology behind the company’s white-label financing infrastructure since 2021. He brings an engineer’s precision and a data scientist’s analytical rigour to the platform. Before ONINO, he worked on data and artificial intelligence in the digital transformation of a globally recognised company, built simulation tools to optimise project planning in automotive research and development, and lectured on mathematical optimisation at university. Today he leads the platform’s architecture end to end, from investor onboarding and compliance workflows to the smart contracts used for tokenized securities. That foundation shapes how he writes about the technology behind digital securities: clearly, practically, and from the perspective of someone who builds it every day. He studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
